Having been immersed in the Luxury Hospitality world for over 20 years, Hotels and Hospitality are a natural addition to the group's portfolio. We know how to deliver to the most discerning of guests.

We buy buildings worth keeping. Each is chosen individually, for its architecture, its setting and what it could become, then refurbished or converted to a standard we would be content to own indefinitely, which, as a rule, we then do. On completion, the asset stays in the portfolio, and we run it ourselves.

That decision is deliberate rather than incidental. A hotel, a restaurant or a spa does not perform on its own. It is won or lost daily, in a hundred operational details that no third-party management contract has any real incentive to get right. Holding the operation alongside the freehold means the people who specified the building are the same people answering for how it trades.

The principle runs through the group. We hold and operate across hospitality, commercial letting, co-living, residential t, holiday lets, events and care. Each with its own management team, built for that sector rather than borrowed from another.

For our investors, that produces two things development alone cannot: income from operations as well as from build margin, and a portfolio of assets we are never obliged to sell.
